Hi! I am Lisa Happle, founder, owner, and operator of K9 Cottage Academy, LLC. Animals have been my passion for my entire life, and I currently have several pets in my household. I am a former co-owner of a very successful pet care facility in Bonita Springs for over 15 years. It was a family business and a death in the family necessitating us to sell the business. This situation allowed me to incorporate K9 Cottage Academy, creating a smaller, more focused business on my five acres in Estero.
Being a small, woman-owned business, I can offer personal and unique services to my clients. My boarding services include supervised play time, leashed nature walks on my fenced-in property, as well as one-on-one good manners training. This would include behavior issues such as jumping, leash walking, sit, stay, recall and other important safety training for your pets. All pets must be dog and people-friendly to attend the Academy. My drop off and pick-up hours are from 8 am to 8 pm by appointment only. I am unable to accept “walk-ins” at this time. I am located on the eastern end of Corkscrew Rd., just past the Country Store, and look forward to serving all your pets’ needs.
I’m devoted to being your resource for pet care! I attended Animal Behavior College and received an educational achievement in dog training. I am also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. I transformed my guest house into K9 Cottage Academy, with unique offerings to pet owners. I look forward to keeping your furry, scaly, and feathery friends safe and happy.
